Belum ngantuk dan diriku akhirnya memutuskan untuk memebuat postingan favorite beauty item and others of 2014 sambil ditemani cover lagunya Nicki Minaj yang Va Va Voom oleh HeyClaire (youtube). Seru banget, apalagi sambil ngeliat warna-warna lipsticknya dia…

Oiya…othersnya apa sih kak?

Othersnya sih masih sekitar produk2 perawatan juga dan perfume favorite of 2014. Baru tersadar juga sepertinya banyak list postingan yang masih tertunda, sepertinya harus dilunasi dengan segera nih, keburu maless nulis lagi, So, mungkin besok, atau besoknya lagi.. daku usahakan tetap menulis…

Produknya ngga banyak sih, setiap kategori daku hanya ambil 1-2 items. Try to keep short. Hahaha..

Roman-romannya bahasa yang bakal digunain bakalan campur-campur nih malam ini, gak konsisten. maap yak!

1) EYESHADOW – MAC NAKED LUNCH

Favorite eyeshadow di tahun 2014 kemarin jatuh kepada MAC NAKED LUNCH, kenapa? karena menurut daku ini eyeshadow cucok dipake sehari2 ataupun acara formal, tinggal gimana cara kita kreasiin pemakaiannya aja.

Misal untuk sehari-hari diriku hanya pakai eyeshadownya di kelopak mata dan langsung pakai eyeliner saja, either eyelinernya mau dibuat biasa ataupun winged liner, for me this eyeshadow still rocks my look.

Sedangkan kalau misal mau ke kondangan daku suka masangin naked lunch dengan eyeshadow warna cokelat di ujung mata dan diperdalam dengan warna hitam, that will make your eyes sexy, deep but still natural.

So.. MAC said naked lunch’s color is minimal pink with shimmer, well yes.. for me the pink is not too dramatic but not too shimmery, so yeah.. it’s perfect for daily look.

2) LORAC PRO PALETTE

I love my lorac palette, seriously. I even think to buy a back up in case i run out of 1 color in this palette. All i can say, this palette is amazing, i can create many looks with palette; natural look, daily look, smokey eye, even an outstanding look using the garnet color. And.. defined your eyebrow. Yes… why not? i usually fill my eyebrow with the black color in this palette and done!. I mean, it looks natural and simple, easy peasy if you are in morning rush. All in 1 palette, Definitely a must have palette.

3) MASCARA – TARTE LIGHT, CAMERA, LASHES 4 IN 1 MASCARA

Why?

Because this mascara can do anything, anything that you need in your life with your lashes. LEBAY!

Hahaha..

But seriously, baru kali ini diriku punya mascara yang bener-bener menebalkan, dan memanjangkan dan mengangkat! yes, mengangkat tanpa harus menggunakan penjepit bulu mata, youknow (curl up) your lashes, and it stays like that all day, and no clumping at all! Again. Amazing! malah rasanya mau nitip temen yang kalau misalnya mau ke Thailand atau Malaysia untuk beliin ini di sephora sana. Secara ya… sephora indonesia kurang pilihannya. 😐

4) MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO CREAM EYESHADOW

Sometimes, when you are in a very rush and you don’t have time to use your brush, all you want to do is just using your fingers to swipe color to your eyelid, at least i do. So… the problem solved with cream eyeshadow, i i thank God that Maybelline have the so gorgeously in many color. But my favorite are Tough as Taupe and Bad to the Bronze. Because those 2 colors are very natural, you know… you don’t want to go overboard for your daily look.

5) FOUNDATION – MAX FACTOR LASTING PERFORMANCE AND MAX FACTOR CC CREAM

How can i not love these 2 products? they are amazing!

If i want to get more coverage for my face i’ll use the Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation, my shade is 109 natural bronze, but if i just want to get light coverage, i’ll apply CC Cream on my face, my shade is 75 Tanned. Both are great in doing their job. They don’t get oxidize quickly on  my face and stay pretty long like maybe for 5-6 hours then i need to retouch with powder. A must try and have in your beauty list ladies…

6) NARS DEEP THROAT AND MAC DAME BLUSH

I love blushes, but i don’t wear them too much, that’s why i only have few blushes in my collection. I think i only have 6 blushes. I don’t know, but i think i don’t need too much blushes, the colors i have in my collection are just normal basic colors like peach, pink and orange. But I need to say this 2014 i wear more of pinky peach and pink colors than orange and pinky beige.

And my favorite are NARS Deep throat for pinky peach and Mac Dame for bluish-pink color or at least that’s what mac said for dame a sophisticated bluish-pink. Those color are beautiful for any look you want to achieve, especially the deep throat, because it has the peachy color so it will look beautiful in summer and it has subtle shimmer, soooo… beautiful on my cheek. 🙂 despite of the name which slutty. i think, hahaha 😉

7) THE BALM BAHAMA MAMA BRONZER

I use this bronzer almost everyday, unless i didn’t use any make up, somehow i love to bronze my face, hahaha, it will make my face has more color and of course contour my cheek a bit. And because it is matte, you can contour your face with this baby, and no need to worry it will make your cheek like a disco ball, because no-shimmer-at-all.

8) MAC FAUX LIPSTICK

At first, i want to choose kinda sexy from mac to be my 2014 favorite lipstick, but, when i see the packaging, i guess i use faux more than kinda sexy, so yeah… of course faux is my favorite for 2014. Mac describes this lipstick as muted-mauve pink color, and yep! i think mac describes it so well, the color is pink with a little bit mauve in it, so it’s not just a plain pink, beautiful and i use it almost everyday, every time i use this color and kinda sexy, my friend asked what color is that, and they said it’s beautiful color. 🙂

9) THE BODY SHOP – SHEA WHIP BODY LOTION

This is my all time favorite body lotion, i love the smell so much, it’s just a simple smell, more like nuts, hahahaha.. but that’s why it is so special to me, i don’t really like something too extravagant body lotion’s fragrance, so, it’s a very okay for me.

10) HUGO BOSS XX EAU DE PARFUM

Woaahhh, i love this fragrance so much, very casual and seductive i think, perfect for mature woman. It has fruity scents of mandarin and blueberry with jasmine and rose in the heart of composition. You will look how this perfume has much loved from me 🙂

Sebenernya masih ada beberapa produk perawatan yang belum dimasukkan di postingan ini, tapi daku udah ngantuk banget… maybe next time, or… maybe not… hahaha..

Kalau mau semuanya ditulis, bisa-bisa jam 4 nanti sayah tidurnya… tak mauuu… 😦

But, at least, daku kembali menulis beauty products setelah sekian lama absent, padahal pengen banget juga buat review tentang salah satu product eyeshadow, dan dupe untuk mac faux. Penasaran kan…?

Besok mungkin kalau mood daku ada, daku akan nulis lagi, haha… 🙂

MONTHLY FAVORITES: SEPTEMBER BEAUTY ITEMS

I skipped the August monthly favorite, sorry about that…
But now i want to post my September beauty favorites, i hope this is not late as i think today is still in early-mid October. Well… to be honest, i don’t have anything new this time, but i hope you’ll still like them.
Let’s jump to the beauty products:

1) Lorac Pro Palette Eyeshadows

Somehow last month, most of days i stick to natural looks, and what can be natural than the lorac pro palette eyeshadow. The shades i used the most are lt.bronze, taupe, sable, espresso, champagne and black. Those are my go to shades. Sometimes i use nude and cream but not most of times. you know form the picture below that lt’bronze is a well loved shade. 🙂

2) Mac Naked Lunch and Beautistyle Eyeshadow A14

Well, another natural eyeshadow pair that i love. But this combo is my go to shadows if i’m lazy to open my lorac palette. These 2 eyeshadows are easy to use, blended easily, make a very nice pair. Love love love, and it doesn’t need to much space when storage them in my beauty case. Usually i’ll just put the naked lunch all over my lid and add the A14 beatistyle on my outerlid. If i want to make it bold and kinda smokey i’ll just put the A14 more on the outer lid and blend it inward and blend it on my crease too and also put it under eyes to make the smokey effect more visible.

3) Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara

Hoho… this is even a surprise to me, i put this mascara in my last month favorite. But It was. Even until today, i still use this mascara almost everyday and definitely a new love.

Well… the 1st time i bought this eyeshadow, i don’t think i can use it because of the wand is a little bit weird for me. It’s big and… don’t know there’s just something about the brush that makes me don’t like it. So… for around 2 months ago it just sat on my storage.

Well, in early September, i think i want to use another mascara, so… let’s try this big green one. At first, it’s hard to use because maybe i’m not used to big brush like this. Well, even though bad girls from benefit has the big brush too and i love it. But this one has different shape so.. i think that’s the difference.

No.. it doesn’t clump on my lashes. it’s surprisingly give nice volume on my lashes and it’s perfect volume for daily use i think. The problem is… because this mascara has big wand and brush and the shape is a little bit different from my other mascara, sometimes it gives dot on my eyelid while i’m using this. i think that’s a big problem for me when i’m in hurry and i need to wipe the dots on the eyelid and back to put my eyeshadow again. Yeah… it takes time.

4) Mac Creme Cup and Pink Noveau Lipstick

These 2 lipstick are gorgeous whether i put them alone or combo them. Usually when i use smokey eye, i’ll just put the creme cup alone on my lips, but if the eye make up is not dominating i’ll use both of them or just swap the pink noveau itself and it will make a stand out appearance.

Today’s post is about my monthly favorites, which are July and June, because i didn’t post my June favorites so… let me just write them here with the July’s items. They are all about beauty items. i’ll consider about writing my NON-BEAUTY ITEMS too.

I  have some favorites for June and July. I will give some quick review about the items too. So, let’s start with the 1st item:

 

1) MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO – TOUGH AS TAUPE

I really like all Maybelline color tattoo shades and one of my most favorites among them all is this shade “TOUGH AS TAUPE”. For me this shade is really unique, as a taupe color, it contains grey and purple so i can put powder eyeshadow on top with grey or purple color or even pink to make it more unique. I also can use it allover my eyelids and not use anything on top of it if i don’t have much time. Only this color and balck eyeliner and black mascara and i’m good  to go. The consistency of this cream for me is thick but it is easy to blend with fingers. I found it’s more easier to blend it with fingers than with brush. stays really long on my eyelid, especially if i use primer again before it. I think i don’t have any complaints about this color tattoo eyeshadow..

 

2) WARDAH EYESHADOW – SHADE SERIES H

Wardah is a local brand in Indonesia, quite popular especially because they are “HALAL” not for eating, hahaha… but as a HALAL cosmetics. To be honest, i don’t know what halal cosmetics means here, but i assume maybe they are cruelty free, but in Indonesia they use HALAL as a term for cruelty free…just my assumption.

So this eyeshadow called series H, they have series from A to Z i think. hahaha… i don’t exactly know, because i only have 2 of their eyeshadow and all of them called series “H” and series “K”. but my favorite between them is series H. It’s a mini palette consisting 3 colors and each of the palette are mostly can be used for eyelid, outer v and crease i think. So… it’s a perfect daily palette because of the size which is small so it doesn’t take much places on make up kit pouch or your bag.

The series H is consisting of purple varian colors but nothing too dramatic so, i make sure that i can use it everyday. My complaint is the color payoff are still a little bit lack. Of all the three colors, my favorites are the deep purple and the lightest color. Especially the lightest color, for me it’s amazing color. Yes… it’s lack of color payoff but i can use primer before it, and if i want to be more intense i can put the maybelline color tattoo – tough as taupe. Seriously… it will make the color more intense and beautiful for daily makeup use.

 

3) BEAUTISTYLE EYESHADOW – SHADE A14

Another local brand which i love, called beautistyle. I have couple of their lipsticks but i only have 1 of their eyeshadow and i’m very impressed with it.I hvae it in shade A14. It’s a medium brown color with i think a little bit hint of red undertone. It’s a little bit dark than usual medium brown but not too overly dark. It’s lighter than sable and  darker than taupe in Lorac Pro Pallete when i compare them together. A very daily brown color for me, because sometimes i don’t want to bring the Lorac Pro Palette everywhere, so i’ll just bring this and other colors in my pouch.

 

4) MAC BLUSH ON – PEACHES

I am seriously fall in love with this blush. it’s a perfect daily blush for me. i use it almost every day when i want to have a pop coral orangey color on my cheek. It’s easy to use, easy to blend, nice formula, sheertone finish which shows matte so no shimmery color on my cheek.

 

5) MAC BLUE BROWN PIGMENT

This pigment is amazing. This is one of my favorite items on July. I use it almost everyday, even though it is a day. Hahahaha.. i know.. it’s more suitable if i use it as night make up, but make up is about what color you like, what color you want to try, right? so… I like it, and i wear it. no regret, just beautiful. It’s a duchrome color of blue and brown, obviously. It has metallic finish, it will be more intense if i put dark color as a base.

 

6) MAX FACTOR 2000 CALORIE MASCARA

I think i will make a detail review about this mascara in next posts. In my opinion, this is a great daily mascara. i use it almost everyday, before i have this new one, i also had the old version of 2000 calorie mascara. i can say that was one of my holy grail mascara. It gives me enough volume and no clumping at all on my lashes.

 

7) NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM – ANTWERP & ISTANBUL

Whoa… I love this lip cream lipstick a lot. it gives me matte finish but never crack my lips, it’s smooth and has soft fragrance i think but not too intense. I don’t like lip product with strong fragrance and this one is really soft so i still can handle it. Antwerp is a pink coral color for me and Istanbul is a soft pink color. Both are suits me for daily makeup and night make up. Antwerp is more intense than the Istanbul but obviously two different color. If you like pinky coral, go with antwerp but if like pink as a pink color especially soft pink then you are the istanbul lady.

 

8) MAKE OVER LIPSTICK – NUDE IN PARADISE

On the packaging it said creamy finish but i think this is cremay with sheen, not too shiny, just enough sheen for me. I have it in shade which is called Nude in Paradise. It is a pink color. On the picture i took, it looks like a coral orange color. but in real i can promise you it’s a pink color. I promise i’ll learn to take better picture for next posts. I think it’s because the flash. Back to the lipstick. This color is perfect for daily and of course you can use it too for balance the look if you wear heavy makeup for the eyes.

This is one of my favorite lipstick these days on July. It has matte finish so it really covers your lips. For me it doesn’t dry my lips as some people complaint with mac matte lipstick. Yes, sometimes i put lip balm but even though i forgot to put lip balm it’s still okay on my lip. Kinda sexy is a pinky beige nude color. This color will compliment my look if i am wearing heavy eyes make up. Sorry for the picture i took, it doesn’t seem like it’s a pinky beige nude color, it’s more like oral orange color… again, maybe because the flash on camera i used, and excuse my nail color.

 

10) JORDANA EYESHADOW PENCIL – STAY ON BLACK

I love this formula more than the NYX eyeshadow pencil. because it is so smooth on my eyelid, and the black color is so intense, well… i know it’s black color… black is black nothing too impressive, but like i said the have a very nice formula compare with other eyeshadow pencils from different brand that i have.it’s easy to blend and smooth and for this black it’s a matte finish.

 

11) MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS BALM

I am so picky when it is about lip balm. I don’t want my lip become crack up because of the lip balm i use, that’s why i rarely change my lip balm brand. i trust my lip balm to THE BODY SHOP lip butter for 98% of my life. Even if i want to change i usually change the varian taste of them not the product. But… when i saw this lip balm somehow i want to try it also because it’s very cheap Less then $2 or Rp. 19.000,- something in Rupiah.So, why not give it a try, i think. And… i’m so amaze of this product, it gives me the softness i usually have with the TBS lip butter. and doesn’t dry my lips in the end of the day. So… i start liking this chapstick balm from maybelline. I think i want to try other varians too of these baby lips. Mureeee cyin.. hahaha, dibanding body shop yang sekarang udah Rp. 70.000,- ini cuma Rp. 20.000, But i’ll still loyal to The Body Shop when it comes for skin care and lip care product. :).
